The draw of the qualifying for the 2008 European Championships has taken place and has been drawn out into one group of eight teams and six groups of seven teams.
The main change to the qualifying format this time round is that the top two team automatically qualify joining Austria and Switzerland who are the hosts of the finals which will start on 7th june 2008

The qualifying games will start in September 2006 and run until November 2007
The draw for the finals will take place in December 2007
